Healthier Choices Management (HCMC) Stock Sees High Volume: But Why?

The rights offering from Healthier Choices Management Corp (OTCMKTS:HCMC) has been a hot topic in recent times and this morning the company issued a reminder that the expiration date for the offering is on June 10, 2021, at 5 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.

However, the company also added that for investors whose shares are currently not directly registered with Healthier Choices Management or still lying in their brokerage accounts, the deadline for exercising their rights maybe today.

The company also announced that there might be broker-specific deadlines as well and investors have been advised to contact their brokers in order to learn about it. That being said, the company also released a table in which it enumerated the deadlines that have been decided upon by some of the prominent brokers. Last month the deadline for the right offering had been extended after it emerged that some brokers had misrepresented the deadline to investors.
