RDNA 2 architecture may be the best masterpiece of David Wang (SVP of Engineering At Radeon Group) of AMD. Especially, upcoming Radeon RX 6000 series can swing biggest haymaker to Nvidia’s face amid cumulated negative press for RTX 3080 GPU’s shortage. Mightiest Navi GPU architecture has solved many power consumption and performance issues for current AMD GPUs such as RX 5700, 5600 and 5500 series.

Just recently leaked information about Navi 23 chip’s codename DIMGREY CAVEFISH confirms about third top end Radeon GPU based on 7nm transistor node. Probably, it’s RX 6700 XT mid–range graphics card oriented at 1440p gaming audience. Since, previous leaks by Komachi_Ensaka have been established with strong naming of Navi 21 referring as SIENNA CICHLID and Navi 22 got FLOUNDER codename. Staggering build up of Navi 21 and 22 chips’ traction in tech enthusiasts’ watchlist left many high end GPU consumers to wait for AMD’s October 28th RDNA 2 launch day.

Yet, another exciting specs for Navi 21 or RX 6900 XT flagship GPU from well-established industry insider Tum_Apisak says that top tier GPU RX 6900 XT could be 80 CU (Compute Unit) card with everything maxed out to beat RTX 3090 in some benchmarks. Again, RX 6800 XT also sports with 40 CUs competitive to RTX 3070 level according Thai industry insider. About RX 6700 XT, some YouTubers claim that RTX 3060 will have to compete against RX 6700 XT in terms price to performance ratio. But Compute Units of RX 6700 XT are still unknown to public.
